MILTON 鈥 A 13-year-old from Milton has won the Knights of Columbus鈥 international free throw competition.
Teagan Becker 鈥渋s quite at athlete,鈥 the district Knights of Columbus chapter said in a release, with her local sports participation including volleyball, basketball and track in middle school, Milton youth basketball for four years, Milton youth baseball and soccer for five years and AAU basketball for 5 years.
鈥淎s an incoming freshman at Milton High School this fall, Teagan鈥檚 goal is to play basketball, volleyball and track. She also has a love of animals, having ridden horses since the age of 4, and participating in 4-H,鈥 the release said.
鈥淵our precision shooting skills have placed you in the top one percentile of thousands of participants in the competition鈥檚 council, district, region and state/province levels. You and your family should be incredibly proud of this significant accomplishment,鈥 reads a letter to Becker signed by Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly, that was shared with the Milton Courier.
