FIRST LUTHERAN HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR
JANESVILLE 鈥 First Lutheran Church Women host a Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, 612 N. Randall Ave, Janesville. On hand will be a variety of crafters and direct sales companies, in addition to raffles and a bake sale. Children鈥檚 activities will include rock painting, cookie decorating and pumpkin decorating. ART OF THE MACHINE
JANESVILLE 鈥 The Janesville Art League held the opening reception for its new exhibit, Driven: The Art of the Machine, on Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Janesville Performing Arts Center, 408 S. Main St., in Janesville. The exhibit will be opening through Oct. 31 in the Performing Arts Center Gallery on Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. and during all JPAC performances beginning 1 hour before show time.

JANESVILLE – Skelly’s Farm Market, 2713 S. Hayner Road, in Janesville, has opened its two corn mazes and its Fall Festival for the season. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Halloween. LINCOLN-TALLMAN HOUSE TOURS
JANESVILLE – Tours of the historic Lincoln-Tallman House in Janesville are offered Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Advanced registration is required. Tickets for those who are not members of the Rock County Historical Society are $20 for adults and children age 11 and older. Rock County Historical Society members and children age 10 and under (accompanied by an adult) are free. A combined ticket with the Rock County Legacies and other exhibits is $28. Parking is free. ROTARY GARDENS WALKING CLUB
JANESVILLE --- Rotary Botanical Gardens has a Morning Walking Club, "Step Into Nature." The wellness initiative is designed to encourage physical activity, mindfulness, and community engagement. It meets at The Gardens Monday, Wednesday, and Friday except on major holidays when The Gardens are closed, through Oct. 31, from 9-10 a.m. Rotary Botanical Gardens is located at 1455 Palmer Dr. There is no cost for Rotary Botanical Gardens members. MUTTS AND MARTINIES
JANESVILLE - The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin will host its annual Mutts and Martinies event from 5:30 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Glen Erin Golf Club, 1417 W. Airport Road. The evening will include specialty martinis, appetizers, a live and silent auction, a wine pull and dinner. Guests will be able to visit with adoptable dogs from the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin and view art created by canine artists. The event benefits the Humane Society. More information is at .
