JANESVILLE 鈥 The Janesville Little Theatre has announced the lineup for its 97th season.
In November, it will stage 鈥淭hese Shining Lives,鈥 by Melanie Marnich, a drama based on the true story of women who worked at the Radium Dial Company in the 1920s. 鈥淭heir courageous fight for justice in the face of corporate negligence is a testament to strength and solidarity,鈥 a release said.

On stage in February will be 鈥淏us Stop,鈥 by William Inge. Set in a roadside diner during a snowstorm, 鈥渢his charming play explores the complexities of love and longing among a group of stranded bus passengers. With humor and heart, it captures the human desire for connection,鈥 a release said.
And in April it will stage 鈥淟ove, Sex and the IRS,鈥 by Billy Vanessa Zandt & Jane Milmore. In this fast-paced comedy, two roommates attempt to scam the IRS by pretending to be married. Chaos erupts when fianc茅es, a suspicious investigator, and a meddling landlord get caught in the mix.

Fundraiser kickoff
The Janesville Little Theatre is planning a supper club-themed fundraiser, 鈥淐urtains & Cocktails,鈥 to kick off the new season. It is Friday, Oct. 24, from 6-9 p.m., at the Janesville Performing Arts Center. It will include classic cocktails, appetizers, a cash bar, raffles, a 50/50 drawing and sneak previews of all three productions. The suggested donation is $20 at the door; no tickets are required.
